Hydrant Replacements To Cause Lane Closures On Superior’s East 2nd Street Starting Monday

A busy roadway in Superior will see lane closures next week as utility crews work to replace hydrants in the area.  According to the City of Superior, East 2nd Street - near 39th Avenue East - will see a variety of lane closures Monday, October 2 - Friday, October 6 as Superior Water Light and Power works on the job.

During the project, traffic will move bi-directionally in the southbound lanes of East 2nd Street - between 28th and 39th Avenues East.  Drivers won't have access to East 2nd Street at 39th Avenue East from the northeast intersection. In addition, a detour to 40th Avenue East will be in place.
