In a year where social agencies have seen record levels of use - especially in the Northland, there's a special event coming up to help out.

Plan to attend the Project Joy Kick-Off Event, Friday November 16th at the Duluth Curling Club.  From 7 - 11PM, you'll have the opportunity to enjoy appetizers, desserts, a coffee bar, silent auction, open bar, and entertainment.  The event will help raise awareness of the need and cash funds for childhood hunger relief in  the Twin Ports region.  The goal is to raise $50,000 and provide 14,300 weekend packs of food for school age children.

Cost for the event is just $20 and all proceeds go to Project Joy, in conjunction with the Northern Lakes Food Bank.
