Veterans Memorial Hall presents "History In A Pint", a local history discussion series.

It's the 50th Anniversary of Apollo called, "50 Years Since The.....Giant Leap For Mankind". Carmody Irish Pub and Brewing host this forum for the St. Louis County Historical Society, and the next one takes place Tuesday, July 23rd at 5:30 pm.

Pat Shaw was assigned to the aircraft carrier USS HORNET. His role was a chief photographer and covered the splashdown and recovery of both Apollo 11 and 12. Pat will be there to talk about his experiences and recall stories and memories from his service there. He will also show off some of his pictures and talk about his experiences while taking them. It will be a great perspective to be a part of.

.The event is free and open to the public. Everyone is advised to park in the parking ramp behind and connected to the Sheraton, which is across the street from Carmody’s.
