Work along Hill Avenue will affect traffic in Superior starting Monday, April 29.  According to information released by the City of Superior, drivers can anticipate traffic restrictions while work crews are on site between Belknap Street and North 21st Street.  The project is part of a larger Sidewalk Improvement Program running this summer in the city.  Hill Avenue won't be totally closed, but the city is advising that drivers consider it a "local traffic only" restriction and that "through traffic" should consider an alternative route.

While the signs are in place, road crews will first remove the existing sidewalk - and then as it progresses - replace the existing walkway with concrete - on the east side of Hill Avenue, north of Laurel Avenue.  Sidewalks along the south side of Laurel towards E 9th Street will also be replaced.
