A major road project kicks off on Monday, August 14 in Chisholm, Minnesota.  Work crews with St. Louis County will begin the process of constructing a roundabout on the south end of town where Highway 73 meets up with the new route of Highway 5.  A detour will be in place during the two-month process.

Work was held-off to allow the City of Chisholm to accommodate the extra traffic and people in town for the All Class Reunion.  The re-route of Highway 5 was necessary to allow for expansion at Hibbing Taconite.

Work is anticipated to be done at some point in October.
