Highway 1 Near Ely To See Roadwork Starting May 20th

Northlanders driving near Ely should be aware of a road construction project that is slated to begin Monday, May 20th.

The striping and landscaping work on Highway 1 south of Ely is expected to be completed in mid-to late-June.

This work, along with some other finishing details, will complete a major reconstruction project on Highway 1 that began last year.
