Harold’s Golf Fiasco Set For Late August With New Policies
Many things have been cancelled in 2020 due to the pandemic but thankfully one awesome event is still on: Harold's Golf Fiasco!
The annual event is a Northland favorite, raising money for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. It will take place this year on Saturday, August 29th at Pine Hill Golf Course. The course is located in Carlton, Minnesota.
You can set your tee time now by calling 218-384-3727. The event will still center around a four-person scramble.
Due to the pandemic, there will be new safety measures in place. You will be required to wear a mask going into the club house, which is a policy put in place by Governor Walz, requiring face coverings in most indoor public places. To continue to ensure safety of those that take part, volunteers and organizers will be wearing masks at the check-in table.
There will still be a live auction as well, with guests encouraged to social distance amid the pandemic. If you can't take part this year and want to give back, you can donate $20 dollars to the cause and receive a gift like the golfers.
Everyone that takes part will also be getting a gift for golfing. As mentioned, the event benefits St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Harold and family raise thousands of dollars for the charity each and every year and this event is a big part of that. Just a few months ago, Harold and family, along with the Carlton community, raised thousands for the cause with a drive-up donation event.
