If your commute takes you through the busy Haines Road/Mall Drive intersection - heads up:  Work crews with St. Louis County will begin a traffic-signal project on Tuesday, October 10 that is expected to affect traffic.  The intersection that is near Wells Fargo and Krenzen sees a lot of vehicles each day and officials want to alert everyone in advance.

The project will see a new traffic signal system installed.

While the work is progress, drivers on Haines Road will still have the full range of driving options available to them - even right and left turns.  However, vehicles on Mall Drive and Market Street will be prevented from using the intersection.  Businesses in this area will be accessible via Burning Tree Road and Loberg Avenue.

Work is expected to last four days - ending by the end of this week, however the county has established incentives for the contractors to finish early.
