The KP Challenge, named after the late Kevin Peterson, is a combination of 3 exciting races, but this year something different has been added.

Grandma's Marathon and the Young Athletes Foundation announced today that the KP Challenge which includes the Saint Fennessy 4K on March 14, Fitger’s 5K on April 18, and the Park Point 5-Miler on July 16, now will have a guaranteed entry into the 2021 Garry Bjorklund Half Marathon.

That goes along with the usual race swag. They will also get an exclusive KP Challenge jacket after completing the three races, and the guaranteed entry into the half marathon is also after the completion of the three races.

The KP Challenge was put together to encourage people of all ages to keep in motion, run longer distances, and train all season.

From the Press Release for Grandma's Marathon:

The challenge is limited to the first 300 registrants. Participants who choose to claim their guaranteed half marathon entry will be required to purchase their entry, but they will not be rushed to sign up immediately when registration for the Garry Bjorklund Half Marathon opens on October 1. The Garry Bjorklund Half Marathon will take place on June 19, 2021.
