Garden Fest 2017 Happens October 26; This Years Theme: Onions

No need to cry about it!  Onions will be the focus of this years Garden Fest 2017 - a presentation of the St. Louis County Extension Office.  The annual event will take place on October 26 at St. Lawrence Church, 2410 Morris Thomas Road, starting at 5:30PM.

Everyone is invited to attend the session which is part hands-on, part informational, and a whole lot of fun.  Chef Dave Sullivan and the crew from the Rustic Inn will share ideas and tops on using onions in a variety of recipes.  In addition, St. Louis County Horticulturist Bob Olen will share teh history, cultivation, and storage of the popular root vegetable.

Attendees will be able to enjoy samples and take home a recipe book that features all of the recipes from the evening.
