Just in time for the Christmas/Winter Break from school comes this fun activity for the kids:  On Friday, December 27, they can Make A Snowstorm In A Jar at the Superior Public Library.  The event kicks off at 2:00 PM.

Come to the library as they join forces with the University of Wisconsin-Madison Extension Services in Douglas County for this craft project that is really a science project in disguise.  This free event is perfect for kids Pre-K through elementary school age.  All of the supplies you'll need for your Snowstorm In A Jar will be provided.  Participating children will be able to mix up the ingredients provided and watch the resulting chemical reaction.

To get more information about this program or any of the activities planned for both children and adults, click here to visit the Superior Public Library's website; that's where you''ll not only find a calendar of events but also an online card catalog, resources, and much more.
