Free Tax Help Available In Superior

Tax time is just around the corner and many find the process frustrating.  If you fall into that category, relax - there is some help available.  A group of volunteers will be offering free tax help two days a week in Superior - right up until April 9.

The free service is being offered with assistance from AARP Taxaide volunteers - and will be available at the Superior Public Library on Monday's and Thursday's - from 12 Noon to 4:00 PM. While walk-ins can be accommodated, the group requests that those interested sign up for a slot.  The tax prep service is being offered free of charge for low and middle-income taxpayers, with no age limit or income limit - according to news sources.

Taxpayers should bring all of the necessary forms and documents with them - including income statements like W2's, 1099's, etc. They'll also need to provide identification.
