Free Parking Downtown Duluth Till December 31

To entice people to shop downtown there will be FREE parking at the meters and kiosks.

The weather has not been kind for shopping this year anywhere, but it knocked out small business Saturday and has made it hard to get around. In a partnership with the city of Duluth, Downtown Duluth businesses are offering free parking till December 31st, hoping this will bring more people and foot traffic downtown.

This also includes Canal Park, which is offering FREE parking through the winter as well.

The free on-street parking covers:

• Superior Street from 8th Avenue East to 6th Avenue West
• First Street from 4th Avenue East to 6th Avenue West
• Michigan Street from 4th Avenue East to 6th Avenue West
• All avenues between Michigan and First Street from 3rd Avenue East to 6th Avenue West

All other parking rules still apply.
