Free Landfill Days In Superior – October 19 + 26

One of the sure signs of the changing season is the autumnal free landfill days offered at Superior Municipal Landfill.  Usually two days long - offered on two consecutive Saturday's - the event allows residents the chance to clean up their yards and homes one last time and make a trip to the dump one last time before the snow flies (and falls).

The dates for the 2019 free landfill days have been announced; this years event will happen on two consecutive Saturdays:  October 19 and October 26 - running from 8:00 AM until 2:30 PM on both days.  During those dates, the landfill is available for free use by property owners in Superior; users must haul their own items to the landfill.

While a wide variety of items will be accepted, there are restrictions in place.  Click here to visit the detailed list on the City of Superior's website.  Proof of residency in the City of Superior is required in order to participate in the free landfill days.  Non-residents may dispose of trash at the landfill, but the regular fees apply.
