If you drive a 2014-2018 Ford Fusion or Lincoln MKZ, you'll want to know about a recent recall made by Ford Motor Company on your vehicle.  The issue concerns the bolts that connect the steering wheel to the column.

At this point, the auto maker knows of two accidents allegedly caused by the defect and one injury.  The danger is that the steering wheel could become loose and detach even while the vehicle is in motion due to the bolts coming loose as the car ages.

Right now, Ford Motor Company does not have the recall notice up on their website; the only recalls listed are for driver side inflators on 2005-2014 Ford Mustangs, 2005-2006 Ford GT's, and 2004-2006 Ford Rangers and a recall due to passenger side inflators on 2005-2011 Ford Mustangs, 2005-2006 Ford GT's, 2004-2011 Ford Rangers, 2006-2011 Ford Fusions, 2007-2010 Ford Edge's, 2006 Lincoln Zephyrs, 2007-2011 Lincoln MKZ's, 2007-2010 Lincoln MKX's, and 2006-2011 Mercury Milan.  The steering wheel recall is relatively new, and most likely the company hasn't had time to update its website.
