Tomatoes.  Garlic.  Onions.  Channel your inner-Italian and help celebrate the harvest season at the annual Fall Garden Fest - happening Thursday, October 10 at St. Lawrence Church.  The theme for this year is "The Italian Garden".

The event starts at 5:30 PM; there are plenty of activities for everyone.

Fall Garden Fest is designed for both those who love to garden and those who also love to cook.  Attendees will be presented with gardening tips along with recipes and advice on preparing garden vegetables for canning, freezing, and eating.

Featured this year will be Mary Kay Berarducci of Va Bene Caffe, horticulturist Bob Olen, and Nicole Kudrle from the Extension Office.

There will also be an Italian cooking contest, with dishes prepared by Master Gardeners.  The contest is open to all, but registration is required; call 218-733-2870 for more details.

The cost of the program is $23.00, which includes food and a copy of the 2019 Garden Fest Book and Resource Guide.  Click here for full details.
