Duluth/Superior Storms Take Radio Stations Off The Air, See Behind The Scenes

It was a very strange start to my morning. I came in and could see we were dark, as I walk in the door, I hear our digital person say, "OK, since we are off the air, we need to tell people that they shouldn't travel, there is no power on. So I taped a message live on facebook to tell people what was happening.

I also got on to my facebook page to warn people of the downed trees and that we were not alone with power outages. As I take my tour you can see how dark it was (I'll walk into a wall).

We (all the jocks from each of our stations) talked about how it was a strange feeling to be taken away from being the person that warns other people of danger and had it not been for facebook, we could not have communicated with anyone.
