Duluth Police Unveil Monitored Meet-Up Spot For Online Transactions
Online-selling websites like Craigslist are great ways to get money for the old stuff you don't want. But after negotiating a purchase price comes the next hurdle: Where to meet to make the transaction.
The Duluth Police Department has unveiled a new public Meet-Up spot at their location off Arlington Avenue (2030 Arlington Avenue). The site is open to the public and includes surveillance cameras aimed in the area to fully-record what occurs there. The idea behind the camera situation isn't to scare-off people but rather discourage would-be criminals and scammers from taking advantage of a situation.
