If you drive in the downtown area you'll want to be a little more alert starting next week.  Three of the one-way avenues in downtown Duluth will be converting towards being two-way roads starting Monday, July 17.  The project is designed to ease access to downtown businesses and the area in general.  The move will be gradual and in stages over the next week.

At the end of the work First, Second, and Third Avenues - from Superior Street up to 4th street and intersections between Lake Avenue to 4th Avenue West - will be available to drivers in both directions.

Full conversion details are available on the City of Duluth's web page; read about it by clicking here.
