The Greyhounds of Duluth East beat the odds multiple times through their incredible run to the 2015 Class AA Championship game. With the odds stacked agains them yet again, Lakeville North proved to be too much for the Hounds, winning 4-1 and staying a perfect 31-0 on the season.

Lakeville North's Poehling brothers came through big in the game, with Ryan and Jack scoring the first two goals of the game. Early in the third period, Angelo Altavilla scored for the Panthers, putting East in a familiar situation of being down by three goals in the third period of the game. Ryan Peterson posted a goal for the Hounds at the 11:21 mark in the third, but the rally got stopped short when Nick, the third Poehling brother, scored an empty netter in the remaining seconds of the game. The 4-1 finish left Lakeville North with a perfect 31-0 season, and gave the Greyhounds their first runner-up trophy since being defeated 3-2 by Eden Prairie in 2011.
