Customers that prefer the convenience of bagged salads need to take caution as the recall of Dole bagged salad greens has expanded to include Walmart and Kroger grocery stores.

At this point, the affected lettuce is thought to be contained to six states.

The recall involves bagged salad sold in six Southeastern states – Georgia, Kentucky, North Carolina South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia – under the Kroger Fresh Selections and Wal Mart Marketside labels.

Specifically:

The affected products are:

–Kroger Fresh Selections Green Supreme, Product code: N158 211B 1613 KR04, UPC code: 11110 91039. “Use by” date: June 19, 2012.

–Kroger Fresh Selections Leafy Romaine. Product code: N158 111B KR11. UPC code: 11110 91046. “Use by” date: June 19, 2012.

–Wal Mart Marketside Leafy Romaine. Product code: N158111B. UPC code: 81131 02781. “Use by” date: June 19, 2012.
