Dance Competition Honors Diversity In Kids
John D'Auria honors Willie Kruger's dream with a dance competition that encourages kids to show their skills and be judged on talent.
The Willie Kruger Dance Competition will be held at The Encounter 201 E 1st St. in Duluth, November 23rd. Kids can sign up from 11:30 am to 1 pm. Then Competitions from 2 pm to 6 pm, this is a free event to the public, they just ask that you bring new or used Hats, Gloves, Mittens, and Scarves to the dance competition. They will be donated directly to people who need them from Hats and Mittens for the Homeless.
Toppers Pizza will be selling concessions. Amy Jensen will sing the National Anthem. Ant Jonez will be the MC, DJ will be Josh Maynard, Judges: Bruce Deloney, Callie Kruger and Paige Kohler Larson and performances by Renegade, DJ Lg, and Royalty, and Calie Kruger.
Anyone that wants to help out with this great event as a volunteer or sponsor please contact me. Thank you for all of your support. This event is free to attend and participate in. We have soloists and groups.

Each group can have 2-12 dancers per group the age groups for soloists are 9-11, 12-14, 15-17, 18-up. It is a 3-panel judge scoring system, each judge can score up to 50 pts per dancer a perfect score is 150pts. Each dancer/group dances one time and the two highest scores in that age group or group category will dance again in the finals to decide 1st and 2nd place. You have up to 2 mins 30 secs to dance after that your music will be cut off. Also, please bring your music on a flash drive.
