Cook MN Annual Timber Days Returns Full Strength June 11-13
Timber Days is an annual celebration in Cook, Minnesota. However, last year it was cancelled like just about everything else due to COVID-19. This year they are coming back in full strength with a ton of activities for everyone to check out.
We'll get to the full list of events later, but first let's learn a little history of Cook.
Cook Minnesota is located in Northern St. Louis County on the western edge of beautiful Lake Vermilion. The area has historically been know for it's logging industry in the Northern Minnesota forest. The small town is home to around 600 people, but every year the towns population increases with cabin goers coming to the area to hit up their lakes. I may add, there's some pretty great snowmobile trails in the winter too.
Cook's biggest annual event is Timber Days, and they announced back in February that it was on for this year. People are excited to get out and see their friends and celebrate a summer of freedom.
There will be vendors, food, live music, pet shows, magic shows, car shows, lawnmower races, chainsaw carving, raffles, and too much to list right here.
