An upcoming event will focus on the problems drugs bring to our community.  The general public is invited to attend the Community Drug Addiction Awareness Event, scheduled for Monday February 26 at the Superior Middle School.

From 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM, you'll have the opportunity to lean how addition affects people - physically, emotionally, and in his/her relationships.

A variety of speakers will be on hand  - representing law enforcement, medical, recovery, and more.  In addition, attendees can tour a Mock Room - designed to help parents identify potential signs of drug use.

The event is free to the public and refreshments and sub sandwiches will be provided.

The Community Drug Addiction Awareness Event is presented by Harbor House Crisis Center - a ministry of Faith United Methodist Church, AODA Community Coalition of Douglas County, and sponsored in part by Northwoods Coalition and Essentia Health-Superior.
