Chilfest 2.0 Music Festival Bringing Live Music To Cloquet
Live music - and more - is coming to Cloquet later this month with Chilfest 2.0. The day-long event will be packed with art, merchandise and more.
While it may seem summer is almost over, we still have a month left to enjoy all that it has to offer and that means live music and fun outdoor events. One of those is Spirit Valley Days in West Duluth.
The event always kicks off the start of August and features a parade and other events over the course of the weekend. It is a Duluth favorite and a good reminder that summer isn't over just yet.
There is also things like Splat Fest and Duluth's annual Festival By The Lake. All of these summer events are a blast and Chilfest 2.0 sounds like it will be as well!
So what exactly is Chilfest 2.0? It is a day-long festival that kicks off later this month. While live music is the main feature, there will also be a bunch of activities like shopping, merchandise and art.
In terms of music, there will be live bands, including Soldier Princess, Travis Reed and more. The lineup mainly consists of hip-hop artists and bands. DJs will also provide live music on site. You can check out the full docket below:
No festival is complete without food and there will be many food options during the day-long event as well. Food vendors include Julie's Eggrolls, The Wacky Wing Wagon and popular Superior favorite Jamrock, just to name a few.
There will also be vendors so you can shop and browse merchandise and art. The official Facebook page for the event shared a lineup of both food and merchandise vendors. More may be added as the event gets closer.
Aside from everything mentioned so far, there will also be outdoor activities. The event is family friendly and will feature a bounce house for kids and prize raffles throughout the entire day.
By the way, the event takes place in Cloquet at 955 Cary Road. If you are interested in attending, you are asked to reach out directly to the organizers on their Facebook page or by emailing wte612@gmail.com. You can also call organizers at 612-669-2617.
We all better attend these summer events while you can because summer will be over before you know it.
