Charges Stem From Duluth Police Drug Bust
More than 25 grams of heroin, over $11,000 in cash, and miscellaneous drug packaging and paraphernalia is off the Duluth street thanks to a drug bust on January 23. Duluth Police officers executed a search warrant on an apartment in the 6700 block of Redruth Street, resulting in charges for a 32-year old suspect.
The suspect - Antwan Dwayne Ray - was arrested on the scene. Also present were a 25-year old female and a 4-year old child. When questioned, Ray admitted that he was importing significant amounts of heroin to Duluth for sale.
Ray has a previous felony conviction in Indiana for Possession of Marijuana.
Bail for the current charges was set at $250,000.
