Can Of Worms Project Update Meetings Happen February 25

Plans for the rebuild for the Can Of Worms intersection - the interchange at I-35 and Highway 53 - continue to roll along.  Officials with the Minnesota Department of Transportation have announced another round of informational meetings to update the general public about the plans.

The next meetings will happen Monday, February 25 at Clyde Iron Works:  2920 West Michigan Street.  As has been the practice in the past, there are two similar sessions planned:

• 11:30 AM - 12:30 PM - with a presentation scheduled for 11:45AM
• 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM - with a presentation scheduled for 6:15 PM

At the last set of meetings, MNDOT unveiled a 3-D model of the project plans; an updated version of that model will be on display at these meetings so that people can get a good visualization of what the project plans look like.

Timeline for the project has it kicking off during the construction season of 2020.
