Reading is fundamental to your well-being.  That's why a group of local agencies have banded together to offer free information to interested individuals, with the aim towards improving health and wellness.

The Literacy Council of Superior-Douglas County and Family Forum-Head Start have joined together to present the next in a series of Hot Topic presentations on Thursday, April 25th - from 6 til 7 P-M.

The free presentation will focus on how to empower families to better health.  Each family will leave with a guide book that focuses on what to do for good health.  The choice of guide books includes "What To Do When Your Child Gets Sick", "What To Do For Teen Health", "What To Do For Healthy Teeth", "What To Do When Your Child Is Heavy", and "What To Do When Your Having A Baby".  The collection of "What To Do For Health" books is a series of guide books that are easy to read, easy to use, contain no medical jargo, and is an effective in-home resource to empower parents and adults in making health-related decisions for themselves and their families.

The event will be held at the Family Forum-Head Start Building, 1500 North 34th Street, Superior.

This program is free, but interested parties are encouraged to RSVP to Nancy or Joan at 715-392-9896.
