Bayfield County Issues Inter-County Travel Advisory
An Inter-County Travel Advisory has been issued for Bayfield County after the first case of COVID-19 coronavirus was confirmed in the area.
The Bayfield County Health Department shared news of the advisory on their Facebook page Sunday (March 22nd), writing the following:
Due to high community transmission of COVID-19, limited health care options and a high population of older adults we are asking seasonal and second home owners to not visit us now.
They also state that if you are already back in Bayfield County, you must self-isolate for two weeks. If you need supplies or assistance, you are asked to call the Bayfield County Health Department at 715-373-6109.
Bayfield County Officials also ask residents and those impacted by this keep up with ongoing heath and travel restrictions. You can do so on the county's website here.
