Crews in Superior recently finished repairing the culvert at Barker's Island from the flooding caused by the storms one year ago, almost to the date, but the 2-4 inches of rain that Superior got overnight was enough to cause serious damage for the second year in a row.

While I was taking these photos, a resident who lived across the street from the culvert struck up a conversation with me and he suspects that because of the flooding in the culvert his basement flooded again for the second year in row and he is considering legal action against the city for the continued flooding problems.

As you can see in the photos below crews are already working to repair the damage which is significantly less than last year.
