Arby's Teams With MN Distiller To Make Curly + Crinkle Fry Vodka

The age-old question: "Do you want fries with that?" could have new implications. Arby's has announced a partnership with a Minnesota-based distiller to create a limited-edition run of liquors based off of their famous fast food brand.

Those of legal drinking age will soon be able to sample Arby's Vodka in two different but related flavors: The Curly Fry Vodka and the Crinkle Fry Vodka. Each will be made by Tattersall Distilling, which is located in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The announcement came in the form of a Tweet from Arby's.

Chief Marketing Officer for Arby's suggests that vodka offshoot isn't really that far of a stretch for the company saying:

"Though we've mastered the art of drive-thru fries, we wanted to take it one step further by making them 80-proof. Being a potato-based liquor, this limited edition vodka is infused with Crinkle and Curly Fry flavor so Arby's fans who are of legal drinking age can responsible enjoy our menu from bag to bottle."

Regular Arby's customers will instantly recognize the flavor profiles in each of the vodkas. "The Curly Fry Vodka is distilled with cayenne, paprika, onion and garlic, and preserves the distinguished and authentic flavor profile of the traditional Arby's Curly Fry". Meanwhile, "[t]he Crinkle Fry Vodka is a subtle tribute to its namesake, made with real kosher salt and sugar to honor the rich tradition of salted potato shapes".

To compliment to roll out of the new vodkas, Arby's has partnered with celebrity chef Justin Sutherland to create Bloody Mary recipes using the vodkas. The company promises to showcase those recipes on their social media sites in the coming days.

Arby's Vodka will officially hit store shelves on November 18 in select states and with limited quantities; Minnesota is one of the states that will have the vodkas available.
