The official start of Duluth Superior Pride is Thursday, September 1 with events running through Monday, September 5. This year's Pride celebration will be bigger and better than ever with more music, vendors, and programs including a special Pride Comedy Night at Fitger's presented by the Boat Club.

Coming to the stage on Friday, September 2 are comedians James Adomian and Maggie Faris in the Fitgers Comedy Lounge, third floor of The Historic Fitgers Brewery Complex in Duluth. This is a really cool place to check out these shows and they have a portable bar set up for some delicious cocktails.

James Adomian:

James has many talents besides being absolutely hilarious. He not only does standup but is well known for his characters and impressions. Right now he can be seen almost weekly on Jimmy Kimmel Live! doing a variety of impressions like Elon Musk and Mike Lindell. Adomian has a podcast called The Underculture and in 2020 he interviewed Bernie Sanders while impersonating Bernie Sanders.

His latest work is on Netflix STAND OUT: AN LGBTQ+ CELEBRATION, which premiered this past June. Adomian has also starred in feature films, television shows, and voice-over work on a number of animated shows.

Maggie Faris:

This funny lady hails from St. Paul and I had the chance to see her perform last summer at Fitgers and I fell into a laughing fit that I could not stop. When it comes to stand-up, I am someone who it takes a lot to make me laugh, but when it comes to comedians she is the real deal. She absolutely commands the room but at the same time, she is someone that reminds you of your best friend. She has won countless awards and her style of comedy is so relatable to everybody. I am really looking forward to this show and seeing her again, she is truly hilarious.
