Advance work tied to the multi-year Twin Ports Interchange (Can of Worms) project will close an I-35 ramp for one (possible two) day(s) - in shifts.  The Minnesota Department of Transportation is alerting drivers that the I-35 northbound off-ramp to 27th Avenue West will be closed to traffic starting Tuesday, December 10 - with work commencing at 9:00 AM.  This part of the project is expected to be finished by about 12:00 Noon (or shortly thereafter).  Then, the ramp from 27th Avenue West to northbound I-35 will close until 3:00 PM.

MNDOT fully expects that the work will be wrapped up within the day.  However - if for some reason it isn't, the work will continue on Wednesday, December 11 until it is finished.

While the ramps are closed, MNDOT work crews will be performing drilling and survey work at the site of the Can of Worms project - that is expected to kick off in spring 2020.
