There's a new report out that lists the drunkest cities in the United States. Wisconsin not only takes the top honor with one of it's cities, but also 11 others make the top 20.

The report is from 24/7 Wall St., and it used it's criteria to come up with the numbers. They researched the amount of people in each city that report binge drinking, number of bars per capita, OWI numbers, and premature deaths.

The drunkest cities are as follows.

  1. Appleton, WI
  2. Oshkosh-Neenah, WI
  3. Green Bay, WI
  4. Madison, WI
  5. Fargo, ND
  6. Lacrosse, WI
  7. Fon Du Lac, WI
  8. Ames, IA
  9. Eau Claire, WI
  10. Mankato, MN
  11. Wausau, WI
  12. Sheboygan, WI
  13. Missoula, MT
  14. Grand Forks, MN
  15. Racine, WI
  16. Jaynesville, WI
  17. Milwaukee, WI
  18. Lincoln, NE
  19. Iowa City, IA
  20. Crovallis, OR

As you can see, Wisconsin is well represented on the list. In fact, most of the cities are in the Midwest. Could it be the weather that play a role in this?
