Watch: Steven Tyler Joins Street Musician on Classic Aerosmith Song
When one street performer in Moscow set up shop armed with an acoustic guitar, a microphone and Aerosmith's 1998 hit "I Don't Wanna Miss a Thing," a handful of change in his hat would've probably meant a pretty satisfactory night. If you told him Steven Tyler was going to join him, he probably would've said, "Dream on."
As seen in the Twitter video below, Tyler, outfitted in an intricately detailed studded leather jacket, walks up to the microphone which is met with a roar from the crowd watching. The busker appears to be mystified with his eyes locked on his guitar as the Aerosmith frontman tries to encourages the performer to duet with him. Nervously, he sings a couple lines, but lets Tyler do most of the work as they wind the song down.
It's been an exciting couple of weeks for Aerosmith. Earlier this month the rock legends announced their "Deuces Wild" 2019 Las Vegas residency which will find the band playing 18 shows between April 6 and July 9.
Aerosmith also hit the stage with rapper Post Malone at the MTV Video Music Awards and their original touring van was even discovered in the woods by the hosts of the television program American Pickers. Meanwhile, Tyler's lawyer had to issue Donald Trump a third cease and desist order for using his music at rallies without permission.
