Updates To Close Billings Park In Superior Starting In May

One of the jewels located within the City of Superior is Billings Park - located on the western side of the metro near the Saint Louis River.  With plenty of playground equipment, picnic areas, and scenic trails - the area is often a summertime destination.

If you utilize Billings Park in Superior, you'll want to know about a planned upgrade that will close the area for approximately two-and-a-half months.

The park will be closed from May to July 18, 2015, due to construction. No reservations will be available until Saturday, July 18. Construction will include renovations to the road, pathways, lighting, and more.

The Japanese Friendship Garden - which is located just to the south of Billings Park will be open during this time period for reservations for weddings, but parking will be limited to the maintenance garage lot. Also, please be aware there is no electrical service at the garden.
