Summer may be more than half way over, but that doesn't stop the road construction crews.  Officials with Saint Louis County are advising drivers about a two-year project that is getting ready to kick off on Monday, August 3 that involves Highways 23 and 24 from Orr to Crane Lake.

The work that begins on Monday will be cost the county an estimated $1.2 million dollars and will improve the signals at the intersection of Highway 53 and CSAH 23, the resurfacing of roughly half a mile of CSAH 23 near Orr, and the replacement of 26 culverts throughout the projects 27-mile length.

2016's agenda includes a repaving job.
