Traffic Signal Repairs At Lake Avenue And Superior Street Planned For May 30

Drivers in downtown Duluth will want to know about a repair project that is scheduled for Thursday, May 30.

The City of Duluth will be replacing a controller for the traffic signals located at Lake Avenue and Superior Street in downtown. The work will begin at 9:00 a.m. with completion estimated by Noon. The signals will be turned off and stop signs will be installed in their place for the duration of the work. No traffic lanes will be blocked but motorists will experience some delays due to slow moving traffic. Upon completion, stop signs will be removed and the traffic signals will be reactivated.
