As you listen to our St. Jude Radiothon, you hear a lot of powerful stories, both heartbreaking and inspirational.  We all know that St. Jude's reach extends far beyond the facility in Memphis, as it helps children right here in the Northland.  That being said, there is an amazing team of specialists at St. Jude working tirelessly around the clock.

While at St. Jude hospital this past January we were treated to a songwriters night, and one of the songwriters was John Oates of Hall and Oates. He sang "You Make My Dreams" in a blues version.

We have been doing the St. Jude Radiothon on B105 & Kool 101.7 for years now, and we could have a milestone this year.  We could crack the $1,000,000 milestone this year!  But we need your help!  Become a partner in hope either by calling us or donating online.

As we talk about things the St Jude Hospital needs, we will mention the little red wagons. I was able to get a picture of one just about to take a child to treatment. This is one of the the things that makes the place special.

Everyone is invited to have some fun while raising money for a good cause.  Saturday, August 23 is the date of Harold's Golf Fiasco Scramble at the Pine Hill Golf Course in Carlton.  The event happens from 8AM to 4PM.

International recording artist and producer Ian Falgout performed on the St. Jude Radiothon today. He was joined by musician Shane Nelson. Ian was invited to come and play after being featured on the radio with his children doing a Christmas song "Heatmiser vs Coldmiser"

Reverb nation  a service that let's musicians post their music and videos, sends out a 5 must listen email to it's subscribers. This week Preston Gunderson was among 5 artists the company says people should listen to. After his performances on the RadioThon you can hear why he is a must listen.

Just Us stopped by to perform live on the air and the studio was too cramped to set them up, so we set up a few mics and had them perform from the break room. Doing "When I Thing About Angels". With a steady audience fixing lunch it was a great performance.

Reagan is only 3 years old and is suffering from acute lymphoblastic leukemia, and thanks to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, she has a chance at a normal life.

Breanne Marie played on last year's St Jude Radiothon, just starting her first album, finishing up writing and performing a song on a movie soundtrack, looking to play more and get her name out. This year was different.
