Superior Police: Reported Child Abduction Didn’t Happen

According to a report from our news partners at WDIO Eyewitness News, Superior Police have officially ruled that a reported attempted child abduction on Monday didn't happen.

Initially, the story was that a 9-year old girl was approached in an area near Great Lakes Elementary School - while she was on her way home.  Since that time, social media and concerned parents have intensified the story - while waiting on details from the school and authorities.

Further investigation has resulted the police department's determination that no abduction attempt occurred.
