A popular event is back this Thursday at Superior's Amsoil Center.  June 8 is the date of the 4th annual Operation K-9 - a free, family-friendly event that spotlights law enforcement and their trained canine animals.

From 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM, everyone will have the chance to meet these K-9's that put their lives on the line to assist their human partners as they work to track felons, search and rescue lost people, sniff out drugs, weapons, and other critical evidence.

Along with the K-9's, the Superior Police Department will also have law enforcement vehicles on display, family-friendly activities, and food and souvenirs for purchase.  Any proceeds benefit the Northland Law Enforcement K-9 Foundation.
