Summer Beach Bash at Park Point Beach With Sand Modeling Contest and More

Duluth Parks and Recreation and the Duluth YMCA are teaming up for a day of summer fun at park Point beach on Thursday, July 19th from 11am til around 4 that afternoon.

The annual sand modeling contest will begin at 11am, teams are encouraged to come down to the beach (with their own supplies) and create their own works of art in the sand before 1:30 when the panel of judges will review all the sand sculptures and award prizes in several categories.

Other activities include a water balloon toss, hula hoop contest and face painting for youth and families, all these events will take place at the Park Point Beach House.
