This seems like the kind of thing that should be self-evident to thinking concertgoers everywhere, but just in case you were wondering: Don't get up onstage during a show unless the performer asks you to.

Sebastian Bach had to deal with a particularly overzealous fan during his June 10 stop at the Nectar Lounge in Seattle, and as you can see in the video clip above, it didn't end well. After the man makes his way onstage and grabs Bach's set list, he ends up back in the crowd with a thud — either because he jumped without looking or, as at least one person present at the show has argued, he was possibly shoved off by a member of the security team.

"Are you f---ing serious? You're an idiot," Bach can be heard saying after the interruption. "F---ing call the cops on this f---ing guy."

Noticing that a woman in the crowd was injured when the stage-crasher fell on her, Bach then decided to bring his set to a temporary halt, saying, "Stop the show. Why? Like, why? This chick is hurt — this chick is hurt. F---ing idiots. F---ing stupid."

Things eventually got back on track and Bach was able to finish his set, but the incident highlights one of several factors that make it difficult for performers to do their jobs during club gigs. As he recently told the Sioux City Journal, he's also put off by the number of glowing screens he's seeing in the audience at his shows these days.

"Put your f---ing cellphone away, dammit! You're never even going to watch that footage," he urged concertgoers. "It's a really backwards way to watch a band. It's a drag sometimes when I go up there and the first thing I see is everybody getting their phones out and holding them toward my face. It makes you feel intimidated."
