Quick Thinking And An Imagination Get’s Treats For Brewers’ John Axford

John Axford wanted to try one of the new Krispy Kreme burgers. The new food everyone is talking about at the Wisconsin State fair. How to get them? He took to Twitter and asked if someone would work out a trade.

Once on Twitter he asked if someone would like to trade 12 Krispy Kreme burgers for 12 tickets to a Brewers game, plus he will re-imburse you for the burgers. So, the person that would fulfill the wish had nothing to lose but the trip over.

Kathy Darrow was at the state fair and tweeted that she would be there in a half hour with the burgers. She delivered. It's unknown whether she got 12 to the same game, different games......but she used them on Sunday.

As for John, his plan worked. 3 hours after his original tweet, Kathy made it to the park and delivered. John and his teamates enjoyed the burgers. I know, I thought he wanted them all for himself. Another happy ending, kind of scary.....just shows the power of the social media.
