Last January, Phil Collins revealed he was working with Adele on a song for her next album -- then later said his contributions hadn't made the cut, referring to her as a "slippery little fish" who never responded to him after he added words and music to a tape she'd sent. Now it looks like their collaboration is happening again after all.

"Over the past few months, Phil has been working on the tracks once again," an anonymous source tells the Daily Mirror. "Adele put all her work on hold for a while, so it wasn’t anything personal. It was just delayed. She did tell Phil that she was prioritizing her personal life at that time, but now that she’s back in work mode their track is happening once again."

There's no official timetable for the new album -- which will serve as the follow-up to Adele's Grammy-hoarding smash '21,' released in 2011 -- and as the Mirror's report notes, producer Paul Epworth has dismissed calls for a release date by saying it'll come out "when it's ready."

Whenever Adele's next LP (reportedly titled '25') arrives in stores, Collins is in gaudy company on the list of her rumored collaborators, which also includes Lady Gaga and Harry Styles of One Direction.
