The Minnesota Twins unveiled the official logo for the 2014 Major League Baseball All-Star Game Tuesday afternoon at Target Field. The logo, according to the Twins Organization, was designed to focus on Target Field's presence in Downtown Minneapolis. The logo offers a distinct blue outline of Target Field against a tan outline of the Minneapolis skyline.

Major League Baseball Commissioner Bud Selig offered the following remarks about the upcoming Minnesota hosting next year's All-Star Game:

Major League Baseball joins the Twins franchise in anticipating a first-class week of events for the fans of Minnesota and their communities as a part of the 85th All-Star Game. We look forward to delivering a memorable experience and applauding our game's very best at Target Field next July 15.
