Here's a story that proves that there are still really good people in this world.  12-year old cancer patient Lucas Hobbs was granted a Make-A-Wish gift.  Instead of choosing something for himself, he chose to give back to others by feeding police officers in Minneapolis via a food truck.

The Make-A-Wish Foundation grants gifts to make the hopes and wishes of children battling life-threatening diseases come true.  Usually those wishes involve something that the patient can use to help forget about the medical conditions they're fighting.  Instead, Lucas Hobbs chose to do something good for others.

After hearing about the recent negative press that our police officers have been getting, Hobbs decided to feed them lunch as a way of saying thanks.  The wish also allowed him to fulfill a desire he's had to be a chef.

Hobbs has his own Facebook page related to his cooking desires and officials with Make-A-Wish teamed him up with Sal's Place, Gastrotruck, A Cupcake Social, and O'Cheeze food trucks to make it happen.

The Stage 3 Hodgkin lymphoma that Hobbs has been battling has gone into remission.

Lucas Hobbs is a genuinely kind young man and his story will make you feel good about the world we live in.
