Highway 73 To Close Near Cromwell – August 19-21

Highway 73 in Cromwell will close from Tuesday, August 19 to Thursday, August 21 while a new railroad crossing system is being installed. The Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad has requested the closure and is funding the improvements.

Traffic will be detoured on Highway 210, County Road 120 and County Road 122 during the closure. Much of this detour is on gravel surface.

When the work is completed motorists will notice a smoother crossing at the railroad tracks.

MnDOT urges motorists to always be attentive, drive with caution, slowdown in work zones and never enter a road blocked with barriers or cones.
