Just in time for the cold and stuffy-nose season, Vick's VapoRub is celebrating 100 years of helping fend off what ails you.

Blocked nose relief ointment Vicks VapoRub is being supported by a television campaign running from November until February, owner Procter & Gamble has confirmed.

Along with reminding the general public about Vick's VapoRub's benefits, the company plans on re-educating pharmacists about the medicinal qualities of their product.

P&G will also be undertaking face-to-face training with pharmacists on the Vicks brand over the winter period, and it is offering an "extensive range" of in-store display materials as well as window displays.
