Douglas County Announces 2016 Road Construction Projects

It's winter and snow might cover the ground, but the crews with Douglas County are getting those orange cones polished up and ready for the 2016 construction season.

Here is a listing of what's on tap this summer:

Pulverize and Pave Projects:

• County Highway A:  Amnicon River Bridge to County Highway B - 5.7 miles
• County Highway C:  County Highway K to County Highway E - 1.94 miles

Overlay Projects:

• County Highway A: County Highway C to Woodlawn Road - 2.47 miles
• County Highway B:  Point of Rocks Road to State Highway 35 - 2.05 miles
• County Highway BB:  State Highway 35 to County Highway B - 3.54 miles
